Bridge Tech 2009

Technological breakthroughs have been perpetually playing a role as ‘hero’ in bridge construction history. The Boom of the World Bridge Industry has arrived, particularly in China. Facing the financial crisis, China’s central government has pledged RMB 4 trillion to invest into and develop the infrastructure sector, with the aim of stimulating domestic demand for the stable annually economic growth. Starting from 2009, China will undertake 52 new bridge construction projects with a total investment of up to RMB 120 billion. Besides, Xiaochong Zhang, the director of International Cooperation Department, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) expressed that NDRC will still continue its endeavors to best assist foreign companies to enter into China’s market.

Bridge Tech 2009 is designed with the basis of current ‘bridge land’ - China.
