A new era is approaching in Asia-Pacific refined oil market, while the People's Republic of China, as one of the most potential developing countries, starts to fully open its refined oil wholesales and retail markets on Jan. 1st, 2007. Therefore, we decide to hold 'Asia OIL D&R 2008' in Hotel New Otani Chang Fu Gong, Beijing, China.

This conference will mainly discuss the Asian refined oil demand and supply, the refined oil pricing reforms, the innovation and development of service station management, the establishment of modern information systems and the improvement of supervision systems, optimum packages of refined oil logistic operations as well as related infrastructure building and financing, etc.

Basing on the Asian bright refined oil markets, it will be a high level exposure to 200+ powerful decision makers in 2007 Beijing meeting. This high-level event aims to provide a face-to-face international networking
platform for leaders, senior government officials and authoritative experts in global refined oil industry, focusing on the opportunities and challenges in the open refined oil market of Asia-pacific area.

BACKGROUND

With the further economic globalization, emerging markets, taking China and India as models, have brought Asian economy a great surge, which becomes a significant force accelerating global petroleum increasing supply. In the face of tremendous market potentials, international oil giants speed up to expand their business into Asian emerging markets after their large-scale restructuring and business integration.

Refined oil distribution and retail is the last important process achieving the success of petroleum industry value chain. Facing the gradually opening market and fierce competition, how to decrease market risks under strongly fluctuating high oil price and the constantly changing oil markets, how to utilize advanced facilities and modern information technologies to improve enterprise business management and enhance enterprise developing foundation, how to optimize resources allocation, rationally plan marketing network layouts and realize optimum logistic operations as well as how to advance services into facilitation and diversification and promote international competitiveness effectively are becoming tough problems attaching many farseeing leaders and experts' attention in the field of refined oil distribution and retail industry.
